We are so excited to hold our 2020 session of Living Word Day Camp!! Praise the Lord!

There will be some minor changes that you will notice, but most of the modifications should not affect the campers much at all. We will try to limit interaction between different age groups as much as possible. There will be assigned locations in the pavilion for the entire week for each group. There will be a special protocol at the waterfront, which all campers need to abide by. There will be sanitizing stations set up throughout camp.

We will run day camp from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily, Tuesday, June 30 – Friday, July 3 and Monday, August 3 – Thursday, August 6.

Kindergarten will meet at the mess hall at 10:00 each day and will dismiss from the pavilion at 12:00. They do not need to pack a lunch but should have a water bottle. Pre-K students will meet at the pavilion at 12:40 and dismiss from the pavilion at 2:05. Please be prompt when picking up your children.

Students entering Pre-K – 8th grade in September are welcome to participate as day campers. Students entering 9th – 12th grade in September are asked to volunteer as day camp staff. Below are links for the forms. Participating Pre-K – 12th grade students must complete a registration permission form. In addition to the permission form, students entering 9th-12th grade must fill out a volunteer form.

Important Policy Reminders:

  • Day campers and staff must come to day camp wearing a bathing suit. Day campers and staff in grades 1-12 must come to day camp with a lunch packed. Not having a bathing suit on or a lunch packed delays the group and puts added strain on the group leaders and assistants. It is very important that these 2 items are taken care of each morning so that your child is prepared.
  • Each day camper and student staff member should have a designated adult on camp property during day camp hours. The name and contact information for the parent or guardian should be noted on the permission form.
  • We ask that each day camper (not student staff) send in $2 per session ($4 for both sessions) to help cover expenses. Money can be given to Sister Kristine Fernandez or Sister Jenny Brown in church. Money can also be given to your child’s day camp leader during day camp sessions.
  • Living Word Day Camp is an extension of Living Word Academy, and therefore is limited to registered students of Living Word Academy.

We are excited to see you all! Please feel free to email or with any questions.
