Hi Students and Parents of Living Word Academy students,
Each year we have an exciting event our last week of school
called “Jehovah Nissi Day”, based on the events found in Exodus 17. Jehovah Nissi means “God is my banner” and we
use it to celebrate the Lord and our school.
Students wear special t-shirts that day; do a presentation of a class
banner, song, or skit to the school during an all school gathering; and have a
day of fun games and festivities. I
think it is the most looked forward to day of the school year for our students.
We need to order shirts in the next week. In the future we'll share more information about the festivities that day in case you want to join us.

the shirts are below:
Shirts are mandatory for Jehovah Nissi Day.
Shirts will cost $5 to purchase.
Each class has selected a color for their class to wear, but
you can order a shirt for yourself or others and select any color you want on
the online order form. Orders for students can also be placed via a paper order form that will come home to you today or tomorrow.

You will need to fill the form out for each person who
orders. Sorry for the extra steps, but
it’s the only way we can keep things straight on our end.
Please place orders by Sunday, May 9th.
You can send cash or check in to school with your child(ren) to pay
for the shirts or pay via Venmo. The
Venmo account is isaiah rocine or isaiah-rocine. Checks should be made out to Living Word
Academy.
